Through attending technological events around the world I discovered that this was the only place where I didn’t have to stand in line to use the bathroom because there were practically no other women in the ladies’ restroom. That moment was a revelation for me and I knew that something had to be done to change this situation.

Therefore in 2014, Caroline Ragot and I decided to create Women in Mobile with a very clear goal: Making the women in this sector visible. We are aware that the role of women is important in the technology sector globally. The future is tech and we want more women to be part of it!  

What in the beginning may seem to be something simple, in reality, turns us into catalyzers to inspire other women, so that in the future they may be the inspirers.
